LEWIS and Susan Eliza SLOCUM, 27 Jun 1872 at Strong Place Baptist Church, Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York; died suddenly 31 Oct 1892 while walking through a field at Mansfield, Tolland Co., Connecticut, at age 66; buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Mansfield, Tolland Co., Connecticut.

iii. Eli MARTIN, born 5 Jan 1831 at Mansfield, Tolland Co., Connecticut; married Mary Sophronie CHOLLAR 6 Sep 1855; married Mary Camp GILDERSLEEVE 26 Feb 1867; died 13 Jul 1902 at New York City, New York Co., New York, at age 71.
